Lewis Hamilton relationship with actress girlfriend ‘over’ after she felt ‘abandoned’ by F1 star
Lewis Hamilton’s brief romance with Modern Family star Sofia Vergara has reportedly come to an end.
The Formula One driver, 40, and the Colombian actress, 52, were first spotted dining together in New York in January, sparking dating rumours.
However, according to American platform RadarOnline, the celebrity couple have now gone their separate ways after just a few months together.
The pair’s relationship has fizzled out despite initial chemistry during their first public outing earlier this year.
According to the report, Vergara was keen to progress the relationship with Hamilton.
An insider claimed she viewed the racing star as “the perfect boyfriend and a great catch”.
But Hamilton’s interest has reportedly waned over time.
This has left the actress feeling “abandoned” as the relationship cooled.
The seven-time world champion appears to have shifted his focus back to his racing career with Ferrari rather than pursuing the romance.
While the pair still maintain “occasional” contact, the report suggests their “communication is rather one-sided”.
“She’s the one who stays in touch, hoping for more and gets little in return,” the insider added.
Their initial lunch date in January lasted two hours, with observers noting Vergara was so engrossed in conversation she hardly ate.

The pair were spotted grinning and chatting outside the restaurant before the Modern Family star departed in an SUV.
Both celebrities appeared in bright spirits during that early encounter.
Hamilton previously had an on-off relationship with Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger before they split in 2016.
The racing star has been linked to several other high-profile celebrities over the years.

However, Hamilton now appears to have returned to single life following the brief romance with Vergara.
His focus has shifted back to his professional career as he navigates his first season with Ferrari.
Hamilton’s first race with Ferrari in Australia proved challenging, with the Briton finishing only 10th.
He showed improved form in China last weekend by winning the sprint race.
However, his sixth-place finish in Sunday’s Grand Prix was later nullified when he was disqualified.
Officials found the plank underneath his car had excessive wear by half a millimetre.
Hamilton currently sits ninth in the drivers’ standings.
He is already 35 points behind early championship leader Lando Norris as he adjusts to life with his new team.
