Kirstie Allsopp slammed by lifestyle influencer for leaving offensive trolling comment: ‘I hold grudges!’

Channel 4 Love it or List it star Kirstie Allsopp has been branded ‘not very nice’ by a lifestyle influencer.

The 53-year-old presenter was accused of leaving a “s****y comment” on one of Jade Sweeney’s Instagram reels.

Sweeney, also known as Home On The Commons online, addressed her 400,000 Instagram followers with the news on Saturday.

“Do you want to know something funny/unexpected that happened this morning? Kirstie Allsopp started beef with me over a diffuser,” she wrote alongside a mirror selfie and copious crying with laughter emojis.

The influencer regularly shares updates on her family life, homemaking tips, interior design ideas and product reviews – where Allsopp allegedly left the now hidden comment.

“So, she basically just left a really s****y comment on my reel! And it wasn’t very nice, like at all,” she began in a later video on her story.

“And the people started jumping on the bandwagon and I was like ‘I’m not having this.’”

She continued: “I’ve hidden it now because when people start jumping on the bandwagon, I don’t want to have to deal with that.”

“I will no longer be Location, Location, Location and I will no longer be watching Love it or List It! So, there you go. Who’s the winner?” Sweeny seethed.

In the video, she reflected on the surreal nature of receiving the alleged comment, adding: “It just made me laugh.”

“Not very nice Kirstie,” the influencer added.

She then revealed she would be enjoying her family’s new lazy spa before sniping: “I don’t know if Kirstie likes lazy spa’s.”

Despite assuring fans she had not “risen” to the apparent slight, Sweeney cheekily pledged: “I hold grudges Kirsty.”

Later, the influencer could not resist bringing up the row while documenting a plush pub lunch with champagne.

“I’m not sure Kirstie is going to like it, but we’ll post it,” she wrote.

Elsewhere, Allsopp herself had similarly harsh words for London mayor Sir Sadiq Khan for the “appalling” state of Euston Station’s taxi rank.

“OMG the West Garden taxi rank at Euston Station is a pigsty, litter everywhere, weeks old,” she wrote on social media earlier this month.

She continued: “No one looking after the plants, really really shocking & properly disgusting, who has let it get like that?”
